1st Integrated Neuroscience Seminar of the Lower Amazon (I SINBA) and the 3rd Neurosciences Fair of the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA) (III Feneuro)

Event Description:

The 1st Integrated Neuroscience Seminar of the Lower Amazon (I SINBA) and the 3rd Neurosciences Fair of the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA) (III Feneuro) is an event organized by the Neurosciences and Amazon Research Group of UFOPA, in partnership with the Universidade do Estado of Pará (UEPA). The I SINBA & III FENEURO is an event participating in the global campaign to raise public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research, taking place in conjunction with the National Brain Week (SNC) held by the Brazilian Society of Neurosciences and Behavior (SBNeC) , being an integral part of Brain Awareness Week (BAW) organized by the Dana Foundation, a New York-based private philanthropic organization committed to advancing brain research and responsibly educating the public about the potential of research. Annually, for a week in March, the event joins efforts by partner organizations and institutions around the world to celebrate and promote neuroscience, encouraging students to get in touch with basic concepts of theory and practice in the area, in an adapted language, promoting the exchange of experiences between students of Basic Education and Higher Education, as well as the dissemination of teaching, research and extension works, thus ensuring institutional recognition within this field of research.
