Event Description:
5ª brain week The Brain Week is an annual event developed by the Center of Studies / Social Research and Analysis of Human Movement – NEPAS, through the members of the study group Brain, education and movement and the students of the discipline Fundamentals neurofunctional Physical Activity in order to discuss the impact of neuroscience advances in many fields such as philosophy, education, ethics, among others; through various activities inside and outside the UFMA in public schools in partnerships with other courses UFMA. The event aims to promote understanding of neuroscience research within the academic and educational community through discussion, presentation of papers and research in the field of neuroscience that have implications for educational practice in all fields of knowledge and thus provide a expanded discussion forum for issues and controversies inherent in these two fields. The NEPAS already develops a work of socialization and massification of neuroculture inside and outside the UFMA, followed by the Neurosciences Workshop issues that soon is in its sixth edition. This event will follow the same line, with lectures and wheel forces conversations of the UFMA walls. the event was a great success achieving a high level of interest of the participants and had several requests to accomplish lectures in schools, companies and universities. With a participating audience of approximately 600 people, including teenage children, adults, professionals from different areas.
