Event Description:
On Thursday, April 2, the Oliver Sacks Tribute Presentation at UT Martin will feature Jenny Smith, M.Ed. (JennySmithRollsOn.com), from Louisville, Kentucky. She will talk about her experience of living life with a spinal cord injury. Admission is free.
On Saturday, April 4, UT Martin Brain Awareness Day will be held at The Discovery Park of America from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This event will include five hands-on stations of activities and information about brain anatomy, brain and spinal cord health and safety, brain injury, perception and sensation, and brain cells. Activities will be lead by university faculty, staff, and students. Admission to the event is free.
