BAW 2022 – Florida

Event Description:

Our proposal focuses on generating 2 events associated with the presentation of talks related to the effects of confinement (stress) on the mental health of the population and scientific advances that seek to improve health conditions in the population, and the possible effect of Covid on the functioning of the nervous system and finally present the significant scientific advances made by local researchers (universities of conception) that have been developed, in order to show the local contribution in research to students and teachers in the region.

The events will take place in rural public high schools in Florida.

Among the possible talks to be held we can mention:
Effect of Drugs on the Development of the nervous system; Role of sleep in the functioning of the nervous system; Journey to the underworld, exploring the Atacama Trench; How drugs affect our brain; brain control of food intake.

Nuestra propuesta se enfoca en generar 2 eventos asociados a la presentación de charlas relacionadas a los efectos del confinamiento (estres) en la salud mental de la población y avances científicos que buscan mejorar las condiciones de salud en la población, y posible efecto del Covid sobre el funcionamiento del sistema nervioso y finalmente presentar los avances científicos significativos realizados por investigadores locales (universidades de concepción) que se han desarrollado, con el fin de mostrar el aporte local en investigación a estudiantes y docentes en la región.

Los eventos se llevarán a cabo en los liceos Publicos rurales de Florida.

Entre las posibles charlas a realizar podemos mencionar:
Efecto de las Drogas en el Desarrollo del sistema nervioso; Papel del sueño en el funcionamiento del sistema nervioso; Viaje al inframundo, explorando la fosa de Atacama; Como las drogas afectan nuestro cerebro; control cerebral de la ingesta alimentaria
