BAW with Italian “Enrico de Nicola” Middle School

Event Description:

7th graders from Enrico de Nicola middle school in Casalnuovo di Napoli, Italy are invited to attend a virtual event organized by Carla D’Avanzo as part of the “Penne Amiche della Scienza” project. The event will be a unique opportunity for the 7th grade students to be exposed to the biomedical research world and engage in interactive, educational activities in the field of neuroscience. The event will start with a short slides presentation about the brain awareness week, the brain, brain health and the neuroscience in general. Students will then informed about the benefit of exercise and healthy diet on brain health and will take the students on a virtual lab tour. The event will end with a “Truth or Myth” card game contest!
