Event Description:

The event was organized and self-founded by the members of the NEUROSCIENCE Research Group of the UNIVERSITY OF RWANDA, it was the first of its kind in the university and the country and was tagged: Brain awareness outreach Program for Secondary School Students
THEME: Brain Awareness in a Post–Covid Era: Healthy Habits that Promotes Learning and Memory
The venue was the Main Hall of GROUP SCHOLAIRE OFFICIEL DE BUTARE (GSOB). It was well attended by about 140 students, 2 High school teachers and 11 members of the Neuroscience research group who are also faculties from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Rwanda, Huye Campus. The outreach was held successfully on Friday 24th of March 2023, it started at 09:30am and ended 12:30pm. Activities include Two Lectures, Question and Answers sessions, Quizes, Brain Model exhibitions and career interactions.
