About This Event
Event Description:
In March of 2021, Oregon Health & Science University established one of the first Long COVID clinics in the country in order to better serve patients experiencing post-COVID symptoms for more than four weeks after the acute infection. One important aspect of this clinic is a comprehensive approach to mental health. In this talk, Dr. Jordan Anderson, director of the OHSU Long COVID Neuropsychiatry Clinic, will outline what we know about how the virus impacts cognition and mental health in the long term, and provide tips and strategies for ongoing management.
