Brain Awareness Week 2021 Brescia: Discovering Psychiatric Disorders

Event Description:

The project includes the organization of a series of events during the “Brain Awareness Week”, to promote knowledge on psychiatric disorders, including personality disorders and dementia, in the general population of Brescia and its province. Given the pandemics situation, we have planned online events that will be loaded on a dedicated website. There will be three kind of events: 1) A series of seminars recorded by the principal investigators of the IRCCS San John of God Institute, focusing on dementia and psychiatric diseases, their diagnostic methods and current treatment options; 2) Videos of our experimental procedures in the context of applied research, showing what typically happens during our experimental sessions and explaining the functioning of the techniques used in our experiments. Finally, it will be given the possibility to contact the organizers and receive further information material by post.
