Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. It unites the efforts of partner organizations from around the world in a week-long celebration of the brain every year in mid-March. It was founded by the Dana Alliance for Brain, with the strategic partners Society for Neuroscience, Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, and International Brain Research Organization. There is always support from leading universities, neuroscience schools, neuroscience publishers, national neuroscience societies, as well as non-profit organizations.
Brain Development, Brain Functions, Cognition, Memory, Motion, Mind, Senses, Emotions, Communication, Plasticity, Mental Health, Neurological diseases, Neuroimagine, Adolescence, Dementia, Psychosis, Depression, Addictions, Aggressivity, Therapies, Nutrition, Sexuality, Sports, Artificial Intelligent
Exhibitions, key lectures, panel discussions, neuroscience lab tours, art exhibitions, information kiosks, interviews with experts, sport events, awareness and exhibition on nutrition, medical devices and telemedicine exhibition, lessons for school students. Also, exhibitions of brain art, painting, musical events, photography and video competition.
Social media campaign, radio and television spots, kiosks in community center, or shopping mall, Lab tours for Brain Awareness Week March 14-20, 2022 the general public to educate and excite them about the research being done within their community, Books, videos, movies and reference material about the brain, Video walls, Virtual Reality, Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Devices, Neuroimagine, Telemedicine, Interviews with researchers from organizations or institutions, Series of lectures about the brain, Painting, Photography and Video exhibition, Annual Conference, For the students: lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and experiments about brain structure, function, and diseases and disorders, and finally, Volunteers to raise awareness about brain function and fitness, brain diseases and disorders.
