Brain Awareness Week – Different Dimensions of Consciousness

For the past years SOMS and SNN have partnered up to bring the fascinating world of neuroscience a bit closer to you. On the occasion of the Brain Awareness Week, and sponsored by DANA Foundation, we teamed up to create the perfect environment where people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join us in the pursuit of understanding the most complex organ in the human body.

This year’s theme — “Brain States – Different Dimensions of Consciousness” – aims to involve people of different backgrounds, laymen as well as experts in the field, in order to bring people closer to the fascinating mysteries of the brain. This journey through the physiological and pathological states that shape one’s mind is waiting for you in the form of a variety of activities that we have prepared to challenge your curiosity and to enrich your theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of some of the brain’s mechanisms.

15-21 March 2021 is all about science: the Student Presentation Competition, roundtable held by scientists and conferences tackling different topics of neuroscience are just some of the diverse activities that we have prepared for you.
