Event Description:
Cerebrovascular accidents, more commonly known as stroke, often has a significant and long-term impact on a person’s life. This session, led by Dr Leanne Rowlands, will focus on the consequences of right parietal lesions, focusing especially on attentional difficulties and how these can interact with emotion regulation. We will also focus on broader effects of stroke on a survivor’s psycho-social functioning. The session will finish with a recording from stroke survivor Nicola Brown.
