About This Event
Event Description:
Brain Day in Detroit is an annual event held in conjunction with Brain Awareness Week that has been held for over 20 years. This event is organized by students and faculty from Wayne State University along with our partner the Michigan Science Center (http://www.mi-sci.org/), a hands-on educational center located in Detroit. Activities will include a human brain display as well as exhibits on brain development and aging, memory, drug safety and addiction, sensory function and plasticity, and more!
