Event Description:
Brain Day in Detroit is an annual event held in conjunction with Brain Awareness Week that has been held for over 20 years. This event is organized by students and faculty from Wayne State University and the University of Detroit-Mercy, along with our partner the Michigan Science Center (http://www.mi-sci.org/), a hands-on educational center located in Detroit. Activities will include a human brain display, exhibits on brain development and aging, interactive activities focusing on memory, drug safety and addiction, sensory function and plasticity, and more!
