About This Event

Event Description:

Registered students participating in this event (typically 80-100 middle and high school students) rotate through four stations to learn about different aspects of the brain and neuroscience research through hands on activities and facility tours. Students learn about cell and whole brain anatomy, how we image human brains for research and for medical purposes, how our cells transmit information with electrical activity, and ways we can use activity of the brain to interact with machines/electronics for prosthetic limbs and other applications.
