Event Description:
The Brain Fair will be held together with the Traditional Farmers’ Market of Alfenas, which takes place in the central region and has recently been listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Alfenas city. On Sunday mornings, the Farmers’s Market receives about 20,000 people.
In the same period, we will have a space, where we will do activities aimed at children about the importance of good nutrition for the brain. In addition, we will have an exhibition of artificial anatomical pieces and distribution of information pamphlets about diseases of the central nervous system, especially those most common in the elderly, who are a significant part of the Farmers’ Market’s visitors.

A Feira do Cérebro será realizada juntamente a Tradicional Feira Livre de Alfenas, que acontece na região central e recentemente foi tombada como patrimônio cultural imaterial da cidade. Nas manhãs de domingo, a feira recebe cerca de 20.000 pessoas.
No mesmo período, teremos uma barraca, onde faremos atividades voltadas às crianças sobre a importância de uma boa alimentação para o cérebro. Além disso, teremos exposição de peças anatômicas artificiais e distribuição de panfletos informativos sobre doenças do sistema nervoso central, principalmente aquelas mais comuns em idosos, que é parte significativa dos frequentadores da feira.
