Brain Science in a Brewery

Event Description:

This event is aimed at adults only. Students get so much access to science information, but most adults don’t have anywhere to go to learn. We want this event to be a space where non-scientist attendees can ask questions they’ve been wondering, to learn about the brain and the importance of brain health, and to participate in some fun brain-related trivia. Our goal is to demystify the brain, show the general public that science is fun and nothing to be intimidated by, and give people access to the people and information that their tax dollars are funding. We will start with a panel of four scientists who cover a range of topics who will give a brief, lay description of their work following by and informal Q&A for the audience to ask questions. The second half of the evening will be brain trivia for prizes.
