Event Description:
The Psychophysiology Laboratory, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has organized “Brain Awareness Week 2023” in collaboration with the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and DANA Foundation, from 16th to 18th March 2023. The event has commenced from 9.30 am-5.00 pm at VMCC on the 16th and 17th of March, and LC-001 on the 18th of March. This campaign aimed at creating awareness regarding the human brain, its functions, and mental health among students, and faculties. Our mission was to provide information about the brain and mental processes, with an emphasis on different problems related to mental health. Around 300 students, practiceners and general public participated in the event. The event invited speakers from diverse fields such as neuroscientist, Psychiatrist, Physician, and Psychologist. There was lab tour as well. Large number of students visited Psychophysiology Laboratory, IIT Bombay.
