About This Event
Event Description:
The event will consist of a brain fair where different aspects of neuroscience will be exhibited, as well as experiments related to the senses and dynamic activities that allow the community to learn about the brain. There will also be a network campaign where curious facts and relevant information about neuroscience will be shared. Additionally, there will be an art contest where people can express their creative abilities and create a representation of a neuroscientific aspect of their interest.
For this purpose, help was requested and received from psychology students of neuroscience and neuropsychology at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, who developed several experiments and case studies regarding the senses and diseases associated with cognitive impairment. The students will conduct experiments and activities during the fair to share their knowledge with the community.

El evento consistirá en una feria del cerebro donde se expondrán diferentes aspectos de la neurociencia, así como experimentos relacionados con los sentidos y actividades dinámicas que permitan a la comunidad aprender sobre el cerebro. También habrá una campaña en redes donde se compartirán datos curiosos e información relevante sobre neurociencia. Además, habrá un concurso de arte donde la gente podrá expresar sus habilidades creativas y crear una representación de un aspecto neurocientífico de su interés.
Para este propósito, se solicitó y recibió ayuda de estudiantes de neurociencia y neuropsicología de la Universidad San Francisco de Quito, quienes desarrollaron varios experimentos y estudios de caso relacionados con los sentidos y las enfermedades asociadas al deterioro cognitivo. Los estudiantes realizarán experimentos y actividades durante la feria para compartir sus conocimientos con la comunidad.
