About This Event
Event Description:
A group of neuroscience PhD students will be visiting a group of jr. high classes and bringing along several brain-related modules including a comparative neuroanatomy module (with brains from many different animal species), electrophysiology modules from Backyard Brains where the students can learn about how the cells of the brain, neurons, communicate, a sensory systems module, and sheep brains for students to hold and learn on. This event will give jr. high aged students access to neuroscientists to ask questions, will show them that science is fun and nothing to be intimidated by, and will teach them about the importance of the brain and brain health.
