In a fascinating journey that will reveal the biological basis of the human mind starting from the nerve cell, we will explore how the musician’s brain is made, how we make notes read and play a musical instrument, what happens when we listen to music and why we draw aesthetic and emotional sensations from it .How does the brain memorize millions of notes and move its fingers a thousand times per minute? And then again: what is the power of music in films? Is there a genetic predisposition to music, and what is the absolute ear? What are the ingredients of the music you like and why do we find music sad or happy?

In un percorso affascinante che svelerà le basi biologiche della mente umana partendo dalla cellula nervosa, esploreremo com’è fatto il cervello del musicista, come facciamo a leggere le note e suonare uno strumento musicale, cosa accade quando ascoltiamo della musica e perché ne traiamo sensazioni estetiche ed emotive. Come fa il cervello a imparare a memoria milioni di note e muovere le dita mille volte al minuto? E poi ancora: qual è il potere della musica nei film? Esiste una predisposizione genetica alla musica, e cos’è l’orecchio assoluto? Quali sono gli ingredienti della musica che piace e perché una musica ci sembra triste oppure allegra?
