About This Event
Event Description:
Nowadays young people and adolescents presented difficulty in dealing with the uncertainties and fears characteristic of the pandemic context. At this time, identifying such triggering situations and applying anxiety reduction techniques can improve coping skills and to obtain better results in situations of stress. Therefore, the objectives are to assist in the identification of anxiogenic stimuli present in their lives, caused by the change from on-site to online teaching; to present the neurophysiological functioning of this system and how the evolution responsible for anxiety took place and to propose tools that help reduce stress. Thus, it is proposed to carry out three activities: case analysis where students will answer questions that require identifying emotions and solving problems skills; a storytelling of human evolution with focus on fear and its effects on learning; and the application of techniques to reduce anxiety.
