About This Event

Event Description:

All are invited to honor and learn about the example of evaluative activity (exams/grades) of the two Neurophysiology Disciplines taught during the COVID-19 pandemic, with 100 second year Medical School Undergraduate students (class 68) and 30 Graduate School Program-Physiology students, both groups from the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine at the University of São Paulo. We understand that this proposal has broken the walls of technical education, from simple content, to a reflective, critical approach, which values the scientific, creative and human skills of each student.
At the end of the activities the Undergraduate and Graduate students participated also in voluntary filling of internationally validated scores and scales toward the detection of mood and affective disorders profiles (mental health status).
This set of activities will be published as an e-Book of the newly created “Workshop Cândido Portinari: The Science and Art of Everyday Life”, of the Network “Science, Art, Education and Society: CienArtES” of the IEA-USPRP.
