Event Description:
It has long been known that the gut communicates with the brain by hormones that are released by enteroendocrine cells, which then enter the bloodstream. Considering that hormoes reach the brain in very short time after a meal, indicating sense of feeling full, the question arose about the existence od another, faster route beetween the gut and the brain. The answer to which line the newlyy discovered pathway takes is hidden in the lecture.
