Event Description:

A lot is known about Covid today. From kindergarten age, to elderly people, everyone knows that with Covid the smell and taste disappear, the whole body hurts, high temperature persists, the body is very exhausted. However, there is one type of disease that is media and scientifically marginalized, rarely and insufficiently mentioned and described – gastrointestinal Covid. This lecture will present Covid-19 disease from the aspect of primary gastrointestinal disease, challenges in diagnosis and treatment, as well as the case of gastrointestinal Covid recorded in Clinical Hospital Center Osijek.
