About This Event

Event Description:

MARCO CREPALDI Psychologist, president of Hikikomori Italia

Let’s explore together a phenomenon still little known but unfortunately destined to increase and become chronic.
Hikikomori is a term of Japanese origin which literally means “to stay on the side-lines”, used in jargon to refer to those who decide to withdraw from social life for long periods (from a few months up to several years), locking themselves up in their homes, without any kind of direct contact with the outside world, sometimes not even with family members. It is a phenomenon that mainly affects young people aged 14 to 30, mainly males.

Alternate Description:

MARCO CREPALDI
Psicologo, Presidente Hikikomori Italia
