Music is an essential part of life as a unique way of communicating and expressing feelings, of aesthetic enjoyment and entertainment, and it is a crucial part of enriching one’s free time. Based on research, we become aware of the factors that determine our music preferences and answer the question why we (do not) like listening to certain music.
