Event Description:
We have organized an incredible event for the second edition of Brain Awareness Week in Salvador-BA-Brazil! We've joined efforts among 7 institutions with brain-related activities from education and R&D in neurology, neurosurgery, and neuroscience to health care in general and rehabilitation in particular. Each institution created its own independent set of exciting activities and we put efforts together to foster brain awareness through talks, workshops, forums, Brain Fairs, interactive activities, and brain-related discussions in general.
The Universidade do Estado da Bahia event on the morning of March 17th will include presential talks about the clinical and research implications of language assessment during awake craniotomies for low grade gliomas and we will also discuss neuromodulation for neurological rehabilitation.
