Event Description:
The lecture addressed the importance of assessing biological sex in the study of behaviour. It aimed to present a historical overview of the survey with females in Biology and how important it is to deconstruct the male biases that permeated science. It was demonstrated how the inclusion of biological sex as a variable and how women researchers can help advance knowledge about behavioural studies and the evolutionary process.
