Brain Health Awareness Week kicks off Monday, March 15th! Every day, we will be featuring a panelist who has an expertise in the field of Brain Health. We are very excited to kick off this week with a discussion between our Healthcare Education Director, Hilary Loftus, and Dr. Daniel Kantor of FAU. His research in sports concussions is inspiring and exciting.

Who is Dr. Kantor? đź§
Daniel Kantor, MD, FAAN is President Emeritus of the Florida Society of Neurology and the Founding President of the Medical Partnership 4 MS+ (MP4MS+) and Real Time Neurology. He is an active member of the healthcare advisory committees of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (MSF), the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) and MS Views and News (MSVN), past Chief Medical Correspondent of MS World, and is the co-scientific director of the largest U.S.-based MS patient registry (Corrona MS). He is Chair of the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee of the Florida High School Athletic Association’s Sports Medicine Advisory Committee and is the Past Chair of the FL Medicaid Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, Past Director of the Comprehensive MS Center at the University of Florida – Jacksonville, Inaugural Neurology Residency Program Director at the Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University and Past Chair of Education and Board Member of the Southern Headache Society and Past Vice Chair of the American Academy of Neurology’s Sports Neurology Section. Dr. Kantor is board-certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine, and he practices in South Florida.
