Brain Health Awareness Week will continue with a stimulating conversation between our Healthcare Education Director, Hilary Loftus, and Lauren Mahakian from Family Connect Memory Care. Lauren’s extensive experience with memory fascinates us and we are excited to share that information with you, too!

Who is Lauren? 🧠
Lauren R. Mahakian is a geriatric care managing specialist providing care assurance for people diagnosed with Dementia and inclusive of all its types and causes. Her representation spectrum is all encompassing: families, medical professionals and other interventional staff who provide needed care for those who require her proven novel and restorative approaches to managing Dementia. Lauren refers to those she collaborates with who are impaired with the condition as “chronologically gifted.” Her tender regard and love for her patients has earned her the moniker, “The Dementia Whisperer.” She has the innate ability to know what her clients need – even before her clients need it – or, when they cannot on their own express their needs, she becomes their “advocate voice.”
