About This Event
Event Description:
The BAW Project is geared towards creating a platform to create awareness about the brain, neuroscience careers among others. The theme of the event is “Mental health and Neurological disorders.” The theme of this event will be discussed through a Neuro-radio talk show hosted in “PEAK FM 90.5 EDSU Campus Radio” (https://web.facebook.com/peakfm90.5/ ) 10 AM (WAT) on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th March 2022, through a series of public lectures/ seminars from Monday 14th – 18th Thursday, 2022 ( 12:00 noon – 1 pm -WAT). There will be social media engagements and brain video contests. Talks on Careers in neuroscience, featuring a testimonial of an early career neuroscientist talking about his journey to encourage others and share talks about his research and impact for the society. The event will be concluded with a neuro lab tour and quiz at the Anatomy Department Museum and Lab.
