About This Event

Event Description:

It’s no secret that eating well can improve your physical health, but a good diet is just as important for your mental health, a fact our ancestors knew. Over the decades, our diets have deteriorated along with the understanding of how nutrition affects mental health.

Some people can maintain good mental wellness with a healthy diet. But for others, eating a healthy diet is not enough and nutrient supplementation is necessary. Join OSHU assistant professor Jeni Johnstone, Ph.D., for a journey into what we’ve known and are re-learning about nutrition’s impact on mental health, and hear the latest research on how vitamin and mineral supplements impact a range of mental health conditions.
