Event Description:
NeuroFest (https://neuroscience.ucdavis.edu/neurofest) brings together the University of California Davis scientific community with general audience within a 40-mile radius. Aiming at educating the Davis-Sacramento community on the significance and the latest advancements of brain research, NeuroFest is a day-long event in March, which includes 4 public lectures delivered by prominent UC Davis scientists. The lectures, which will focus on mental health, will each followed by a Q&A period and will take place at the UC Davis Conference Center in Davis. Complementing the talks, UC Davis trainees will present “big-picture” posters of their work to the general public. Several interactive educational booths will also be set up to explain brain machine interface, neuroprosthetics, brain anatomy, a day in the life of a graduate student, etc.
