About This Event
Event Description:
This will be the new BAW event in Krakow involving the youngest generation as participants. Activities during sessions of the Secrets of Senses project will cover topics such as functional anatomy, functioning of senses and integration of various signals transmitted between the neuronal cells. During each session pupils, their teachers or/and parents will listen to a short introductory lecture about the brain and rodent research, how the brain is acquiring, processing and filtering sensory inputs and what kind of feedback can be achieved. Following the lecture, kids will be divided into smaller groups to perform simple hands-on experiments
