Perturbing Beauty – The use of poetic verse in psychotherapy

Event Description:

The use of poetry as a starting image of Imaginative Experience, narration evoked in the session and fulcrum of the homonymous psychotherapeutic methodology, activates, by the aesthetic sense it bears, a transformative movement, with a transcendent dynamic able of freeing the identity from a condensation and reaching the synthesis of the personality. The Imaginary, used in a dimension not only psychoanalytic, but also phenomenological, aims to bring the image to life from within and to implement it in a poetic and poietic budding. It translates the poetic lyricism, still able to impress the psyche of the Digital Man, in a prosaic language, transfiguring and dressing reality in a symbolic dimension of sure beauty and therapeutic effect.

L’uso del verso poetico come immagine di avvio dell’Esperienza Immaginativa, narrazione evocata in seduta e fulcro dell’omonima metodologia psicoterapeutica, attiva, in virtù del senso estetico di cui è portatore, un movimento trasformativo, a dinamica trascendente in grado di liberare l’identità da una condensazione e giungere, in tal modo, alla sintesi della personalità.
L’immaginario, utilizzato in una dimensione non solamente psicoanalitica, ma anche in una dimensione fenomenologica che mira a far vivere l’immagine dal suo interno e ad implementarla in una gemmazione poetica e poietica (Chiore, 2020), traduce il lirismo poetico, tutt’ora in grado di impressionare la psiche dell’Uomo Digitale, in un linguaggio prosaico, trasfigurando e vestendo la realtà di una dimensione simbolica di sicura bellezza ed effetto terapeutico.
