Event Description:
Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which perceptual, psychoactive, and cognitive aspects are dysfunctional. However, the etiology is not known and treatments are unsatisfactory. Recently, several studies have shown that specific symptoms of schizophrenia are related to specific neural circuits in which the endocannabinoid system plays a key role. The lecture aims to present basic concepts and answer the central questions of the audience. In the end, we will address a quick form to the audience for lecture evaluation.
