Chapter Peru joins Brain Awareness Week (BAW), a global event that allows us to inform and teach about the importance of knowledge of the brain, through a series of activities aimed at the public, and disseminated through the media and newspapers in Perú.
Chapter Peru obtained the Brain Awareness Week Grant awarded by IBRO (International Brain Research Organization) and Dana Foundation, to promote and disseminate the BAW throughout Peru, which will be held from March 15 to 20 and will convene 22 national speakers (Peru) and international (Chile, Panama, Colombia, Argentina and Mexico) distributed in 19 presentations and 3 forums.
The topics covered in the week will be:
1. Brain and COVID-19,
2. Neuroscience of mental, clinical and neurological health,
3. Brain research: Made in Latin America,
4. The brain in extreme situations,
5. Neuroeducation, and
6. Neuroscience, law, leadership and governance.

Chapter Perú se une a la Semana de Concientización del Cerebro (BAW), evento mundial que nos permite informar y enseñar acerca de la importancia del conocimiento del cerebro, a través de una serie de actividades dirigidas a todo el público, y difundido por medios de televisión y periódicos en Perú.
Chapter Perú obtuvo el Brain Awareness Week Grant otorgado por IBRO (International Brain Research Organization) y Dana Foundation, para promover y difundir el BAW en todo el Perú, el cual se realizará desde el 15 al 20 de Marzo y convocará a 22 ponentes nacionales (Perú) e internacionales (Chile, Panamá, Colombia, Argentina y México) distribuidos en 19 ponencias y 3 conversatorios.
Los temas tratados en la semana serán:
1. Cerebro y COVID-19,
2. Neurociencia de la salud mental, clínica y neurológica,
3. Investigaciones del cerebro: Made in Latinoamérica,
4. El cerebro en situaciones extremas,
5. Neuroeducación, y
6. Neurociencia, derecho, liderazgo y gobernabilidad.
