About This Event
Event Description:
Professors and their students involved in several projects in the Campus Centro-Oeste D. Lindu, will join forces to prepare 3 actions during the Brain Awareness Week (Semana do Cérebro, in Brazil). The language used in all activities will be Portuguese.
– The program will start on March 15th, with an online meeting where the public will talk to some neuroscientists working in UFSJ. This will be freely conducted by the questions and comments from the audience.
– From March 15th to March 21st the students will publish, daily, neuroscience briefs on: NEURODEVELOPMENT (Physiology Laboratory, @gad_fisiologia, Dr. Cristiane Q. Tilelli and students); LEARNING (Project Neuroscience Pills, @pilulasdeneurociencias, Dr. Maira de Castro Lima and students); SLEEP AND DREAMS (Academic League on Neurosciences, @laneufsj, Dr. Cristiane Q. Tilelli and students); EMOTIONS (Academic League on Clinical Anatomy, @laacufsjcco, Dr. Maira de Castro Lima and students); ANXIETY (Project A Visit to the Human Body, @umavisitaaocorpohumano, Dr. Luciana Estefani Drumond de Carvalho and students); MEDITATION (Academic League on Complementary and Integrative Medicine, @lapic.ufsj, Dr. Valéria Ernestânia Chaves and students); and EPILEPSY (Project Know Epilepsy, @projetosaberepilepsia, Dr. Cristiane Q. Tilelli and students).
– The program will end on March 22nd, with a lecture of the renowned Brazilian neuroscientist Dr. Norberto Garcia-Cairasco, entitled: “How a Neuroscientist in Brazil Constructed the Science, Arts, Education & Society Network – ScienArtES”.
