Event Description:
Two-page newsletter with descriptive and visual scheme analysis per day of different social brain contexts on famous movies. Examples of themes in the discussion about the chosen movies: history of movies, the neuroscience behind the context, physiology, neuroanatomy, mental disorders, neuroethics, brain-machine interface, anti-social behavior, brain function, movies inspired in neuroscience advances and techniques, and memories.
One movie per day:
A Clockwork Orange: anti-social behavior and its physiopathology, decision making, aversive conditioning, brain function, crimes, neuroethics.
A Beautiful Mind: schizophrenia, symptoms, its physiopathology, brain function, how psychosis is produced by the brain, and where.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: how memories work, physiology, where they are formed in the brain by each location, and why we shouldn’t delete our memories, neuroethics, social relationships.
