About This Event
Resilience is the physiological and behavioral resilience that occurs after chronic or traumatic stressors. Although stress is the main environmental factor that triggers psychiatric disorders such as depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, there is great variability and most individuals recover. Resilience results from the dynamic interaction between biological, personality and social factors. In this presentation we will talk about how these factors can help individuals maintain mental health.
