Event Description:
This is my first year at Greater Lowell. I have been celebrating BAW with my students for several years, and last year coordinated an awareness campaign for the full faculty. It was a great success. Funny enough, but give a teacher a pencil and an eraser and they will be much more open to hearing ideas about how our brains work! This school is double the size of my former school, Greater Lawrence Technical School.
I am planning to start small here in Lowell with a campaign for our Math/Science department. I am hoping to find teachers who might want to join me and plan something bigger for next year. I love spreading the word!
