Event Description:

The adolescent brain is a work-in-progress that is undergoing extensive remodeling. Focusing on areas of the brain that show the most profound changes during adolescence, Dr. Chamberlain describes how these changes influence adolescents’ emotions, decision-making, and response to stress. She will also examine the vulnerability of the developing adolescent brain to substance use and highlight practical strategies to manage stress and improve communication with teens.

In honor of Brain Awareness Week (March 15-21, 2021), Dr. Linda Chamberlain will be joining ODP on March 16, 2021 from 1-2pm MST to present on The Amazing Adolescent Brain: Opportunities and Vulnerabilities.
