The cinephile Brain- from home!

Event Description:

We propose a film festival and discussion forum of neuropathologies named “The cinephile Brain- from home!”. This would be the third edition of the activity, this time in virtual/online form. We will be sharing on social media, youtube channel and website videos, interviews and graphic material about central nervous system pathologies. This will include information regarding basic research, clinical attention, social centers for the caregiving and movies and/or documentary films’ synopsis. Each week will be focused on a single pathology that includes schizophrenia, movement disorders, brain vascular pathologies, memory and learning, and depression and anxiety. We are expectant to this excellent opportunity to share the scientific contributions to a better understanding of the diseases and to get people’s attention regarding the importance of the scientists’ work

Proponemos un festival de cine y foro de discusión de neuropatologías llamado “El cerebro cinéfilo, ¡desde casa!”. Esta sería la tercera edición de la actividad, esta vez de forma virtual/online. Compartiremos en redes sociales, canal de youtube y página web vídeos, entrevistas y material gráfico sobre patologías del sistema nervioso central. Se incluirá información sobre investigación básica, atención clínica, centros sociales para el cuidado y sinopsis de películas y/o documentales. Cada semana se centrará en una sola patología que incluye la esquizofrenia, los trastornos del movimiento, las patologías vasculares cerebrales, la memoria y el aprendizaje, y la depresión y la ansiedad. Estamos expectantes ante esta excelente oportunidad de compartir las contribuciones científicas para una mejor comprensión de las enfermedades y de llamar la atención de la gente sobre la importancia del trabajo de los científicos.
