About This Event
Event Description:
Conference by
Katya Tentori – Professor of Logic of Thought and Logic and Reasoning at the Center for Mind / Brain Sciences (CIMeC), University of Trento
Gustavo Cevolani – Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science, IMT School
Starting from the example of two recent studies that revealed some criticalities in the common interpretation of the results of the molecular test on nasopharyngeal swab for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection, as well as the values indicating the efficacy of vaccines to prevent COVID-19, Katya Tentori – in dialogue with Gustavo Cevolani – will explore the consequences of systematic and not at all random errors on individual behavior and on the relationship of trust between citizens and health institutions.
The event will be live streamed on the IMT School’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
