About This Event
Hypersomnia is a condition of excessive daytime sleepiness or prolonged nighttime sleep. There is a specific electric activity of the brain that is characteristic of the sleep mode, which is different from the awake state. The aim of the lecture is to acquaint students with the basic stages of sleep and the characteristic accompanying brain waves. The treatments that psychologists can use in the treatment of a specific sleep disorder will also be presented.
