TJEDAN MOZGA U MAKSIMIRU 2021/BRAIN AWARENESS WEEK IN MAKSIMIR 2021

Event Description:

National theme of this year’s BAW in Croatia is “Brain and COVID”/”Brain and (digital) evolution.”
One of the consequences of the pandemic is the increased use of the Internet and digital media for everyday tasks (learning, socializing, work, etc.). Therefore, the question arises as to how digital media and technologies affect our brains, how we experience the world around us and process information, and what is the impact of new technologies on our health. What is certain is that our brain needs physical and outdoor activity , especially in this digitalized age. And when we combine physical activity with brain exercise, learning and observation, is there a better recipe for the brain?
That is why this Brain awareness week we combine riddles with outdoor activities; Scavenger Hunt and Discovering Walk around nearby Park Woods Maksimir.
On our online Padlet Wall (https://padlet.com/maksimirudm/wnpgg01r2mt0xp3p) students, and other interested parties, will be able to exercise their brain with riddles, learn what digital dementia is and how digitization shapes our brains, and read tips on how to prevent harmful consequences.
