Event Description:
The book festival attracts about 120,000 persons over the weekend. The Science City portion is sponsored by the UAz College of Science and nearly every dept has a hands-on booth with experiences appropriate to their discipline. The Brainworks Booth has 10 demo/hands-on stations, each run by a combination of students, faculty and staff, as well as several “roving” students who do simple, portable, interactive activities with individuals walking by the booth.
