V Brain Week – The Social Brain

Event Description:

Activities were planned for all days of the week between 14/03 and 20/03. The event V Brain Week – The Social Brain, will be free and open to the academic community and non-academic, registration will be made through a form made available on the instagram of the Neuroliga (@neuroliga.ims). Three playful videos of up to 2 minutes with the themes: “Neuroethics: understanding the brain as a social organ”, “Relationships, environment and the brain”, “Neurosciences as a link of social education”, accompanied by a caption with synthesis of the contents, respectively on 14/03, 17/03 and 20/03, will be produced and shared on the neuroleague. Two face-to-face activities will be held at the university, with a small number of participants, use of PPE and social distancing; on 15/03 will be held a meditation wheel followed by the presentation of the League by the directors of teaching and extension, and on 18/03 a wheel of community therapy, both activities conducted by professionals. Two days will have online activities via google meet; on 16/03 will be broadcast a film or documentary that will serve as mobilizer for further discussion, and on 19/03, two lectures will be presented by professionals, in order to broaden the discussion about the importance of the social and the collective for human experience.
