About This Event
Event Description:
The activity consists in an open discussion between people with aphasia, university students, professionals and professors with the general public, tackling the following topics: what is aphasia, how it is like to live with aphasia, how informing the general public about aphasia can impact communication and quality of life of people living with aphasia, and additional relevant topics. There will also be a distribution of informative brochures made by the Aphasia Association of Rio Grande do Sul (AAFARGS). Key points from the discussion will then inform digital content to be produced and published at the official page of AAFARGS on Facebook for the Aphasia Awareness Month (June).
