“What are the benefits of dangerous children’s play?”

Event Description:

Style of play today referred to as “dangerous”, used to be the only way of playing – from playing in the mud to playing with a pocket knife. However, the trends are chaning, our surroundings hold more and more evident and less evident danger so our mission is to protect – especially to protect children. Nevertheless, “dangerous” play has a positive impact on children’s brain and skill development, whereas “overprotected” play may actually cause harm. With this lecture we will settle on the best way to balance a safely dangerous, just stimulating enough, children’s play.
